Hi! My name is Meanne, a Pinay Expat who is currently based in the U.A.E (and somewhere in between). Married to a wonderful Indian/Khmer. A homeschooling mum to a charming 10yr-old girl. A homebody by nature and an improving cook (that’s what my husband says)😊.

In here, you will read topics mostly about my family, our homeschooling journey, our expat experiences, thanksgiving, and everything else I may find interesting and informative to share. I’m still navigating my way to being a better writer (hoping to), so please bear with some oversight. I write because more often, my thoughts are better expressed in words (^_-).

Being an expat for more than a decade, I have learned to adapt and adopt to my so-called ‘temporary shelter’. In the meantime, we are gratefully hanging around until it is time to move on to our next destination.

This blog is my ‘me-time‘, the symbol of my ‘simplified-living‘, and my connection to a ‘world outside of mine‘.
